PC not found over Wi-Fi
- Confirm that the FluxPad desktop app is open.
- Connect the phone and PC to the same main router.
- Do not use a guest or public network, which often isolates devices.
- Disconnect an active VPN on the PC and phone, then retry.
- Restart the router if both devices appear to be on the same network.
Find out whether the PC or router is blocking FluxPad
Create a phone hotspot
Temporarily disconnect the phone from Wi-Fi and enable its mobile hotspot. No mobile data is required for this local test.
Connect the PC to the hotspot
Join the phone hotspot from Windows, reopen FluxPad, and try the connection.

If it works, the home router is isolating devices. If it still fails, check the Windows firewall, antivirus, and VPN.
Windows firewall or antivirus
Allow FluxPad through Windows Firewall on private networks. Security tools such as third-party antivirus products can also reject local traffic; pause them briefly only for a controlled test, then restore protection.
If the hotspot test works but home Wi-Fi does not, check the router for Guest Network, AP Isolation, Client Isolation, or Network Isolation.
QR code or USB errors
- For an unrecognized QR code, display a fresh code in the PC app and scan it again.
- For “USB tunnel not found,” check the cable, USB debugging authorization, and Refresh USB Port.
- For an ADB timeout, wait a few seconds and retry.
- Use USB mode when a public, school, enterprise, or restricted router prevents local device communication.
