1. Install the Windows app
Download the Windows package from the official FluxPad website, extract it, and start the installer. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning for a newly distributed app; review the publisher and file source before continuing.
Keep the desktop app open while connecting your phone. If Windows asks for network permission, allow FluxPad on your private network.
2. Install the Android app
Use the Google Play button or QR code on the official download section. FluxPad supports Android 7.0 and newer.
Open the app and grant only the permissions requested for the feature you are using.
3. Pair over Wi-Fi
Use the same network
Connect the PC and phone to the same main Wi-Fi network. Avoid guest networks and network isolation.
Display the QR code
Open FluxPad on the PC and keep the connection screen visible.
Scan from Android
Scan the desktop QR code in the mobile app and wait for the connected state.
4. Test controller detection
Start a Windows game with Xbox or XInput controller support. The game should see FluxPad as an Xbox-style virtual controller.
If the PC cannot be reached, use the troubleshooting guide to check the firewall, antivirus, VPN, router, and local network.
